Our office takes pride in providing you with the finest dental care at reasonable fees.
Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered unless you have made prior arrangements with our financial coordinator. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and Care Credit. A charge of $30.00 will be assessed on checks returned for any reason.
We do not overbook our appointments. That means an appointment time is reserved especially for you. Our office reserves the right to charge for broken appointments. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us the courtesy of canceling at least 24 hours in advance. This gives us an opportunity to fill our schedule.
DENTAL INSURANCE:
Currently our office only files claims for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Met-Life and Athens Area Health Plan Select. We will be adding additional insurance companies as we work out our filing system.
We will collect the estimated patient portion at the time of service.
Initial and emergency visits must be paid in full at the time of service regardless of insurance coverage.
Please keep in mind that we expect our patients to take full responsibility for payment of our fees. Some insurance plans don’t cover certain dental procedures or cover only at a reduced rate. As your dental care providers, our relationship is with you and not your insurance company. If an insurance payment is not received within 30 days of the date of service, the charges will become the responsibility of the patient/guardian.
Accounts over 90 days past due will be turned over to our collection service. You are responsible for all fees incurred by our office for collection procedures.
